Have you ever wanted to draw a cityscape, filled with buildings and windows and stairs and signs and all of that other stuff that comes in cities? Looks a little complicated right? Well, actually, like most illustrations it’s easier than you might first think. As long as you follow some simple rules to start your drawing, you can start to create complex and effective cityscapes, packed with detail.
The key is starting off with some simple shapes, and building layers of details from there. Of course, the more you practice the better you’re going to get, but in this video I show you how to start, and how to develop your cityscape drawing, so you can create some really impressive bustling city scenes for your comics or illustrations.
